International Dance Workshop

with Roberto Bagnoli

4-6pm EDT

Concord Scout House
74 Walden St., Concord, MA

About the Event

Fresh off of teaching at Mainewoods Dance Camp, Roberto will stop in Boston to lead an international dance workshop at the Scout House, a beautiful (and well ventilated) dance hall in Concord, MA.

The afternoon workshop will be followed by the FAC Monthly Dance Party featuring live music by the Goatberg Variations. The dance party will be in-person at the Scout House and live-streamed, with Zoom host Marcie Van Cleave. The program will include selections from Roberto’s afternoon workshop as well as his extensive repertoire.

About Roberto

Roberto Bagnoli grew up, and still resides, in Rome, where he was first introduced to folk music and dance. He began dancing in performance groups, joined the Terra di Danza Company as choreographer and dancer, and ultimately founded the Folk Atelier Reggio Emilia, his group dedicated to preserving and promoting folk dance and other traditional arts. He studied various forms of folk dance throughout Europe, Israel, and North America under the guidance of renowned choreographers and teachers and has been a favorite at numerous US dance camps including FAC workshops and Pinewoods sessions.

Covid protocols will be strictly observed, including vax card verification, and masks will be required to be worn at all times in the hall. This event is in-person only.
