About the Program

This weekend, the Folk Arts Center of New England is teaming up once again with Stockton Folk Dance Camp to share programming.

Session One

The first session will be a 90-minute Bulgarian dance class live from Amsterdam featuring Jaap Leegwater accompanied by Jan Wollring on accordion. He will choose his program from amongst these dances: Bâcvanka, Dobrička Pandelaš, Kako Kostadino, Kukuneško Horo, Lamba Lamba Kopanica, Melnik (Cveta Moma), Minka, Neda Voda, Petrunino Horo, Plevensko Pajduško, Sitno Severnjaško Horo, Stâpil Dobri, Staro Erkečko Horo, Svornato Horo, Trakijska Râčenica

Session Two

The second session will feature live music, coming to us from the Cope-a-Cabana, in an hour-long dance party with Orkestar Unbound featuring Bill Cope, Amberly Rosen, Ariana Rosen, Janie Cowan, and Balder ten Cate.
