Please note: Due to the myriad considerations/limitations/demands involved in assigning housing, we cannot guarantee a specific cabin. However, we do try our best to accommodate everyone’s preferences.

Pinewoods Camp tries to accommodate other dietary needs with options available on the alternative cart in the Dining Hall. Note any strong food allergies below, and we’ll pass along the information to the Pinewoods kitchen staff.

Every camper contributes to the smooth running of camp by doing brief chores in the kitchen, Dining Hall, and/or around camp. You will receive printed directions for doing your job(s) when you arrive at camp. In addition, there is a Dining Hall Manager as well as a Jobs Coordinator who can guide you through the intricacies! None of the jobs should cut into your class time.

Please rank your top three job preferences. Fill in the appropriate spaces (preceding the jobs’ names) with the numerals 1, 2 or 3.

Parties after the evening dance (“after-parties”) need coordinators and often have themes (although a theme is not necessary).

Children’s activities

There will be some children at camp for the Weekend and a few more for FolkDays. You can enrich their and your camp experience by sharing an interest of yours with a group of children. Lead them in song, teach a craft or game, lead a nature hike, introduce a musical instrument, come up with a mummers’ play…? Age group and time are negotiable.
