Oktoberfest

About Oktoberfest 2012 | Staff | Registration | Hulbert Outdoor Center

October 5–8, 2012, Hulbert Outdoor Center, Fairlee, Vermont

Registration, 2012

Full-time participation

Online registration will be available for lodging, meals, and activities or for meals and activities only. The online form has the option to pay by check or by PayPal (with your PayPal account or with a credit card). If you do not wish to register online, you may call the FAC office at 781-438-4387 to sign up and pay by credit card or check. Checks (for full payment, or $100 deposit per person) should be mailed to:

Folk Arts Center of New England

10 Franklin Street

Stoneham, MA 02180-1862

Please make your check payable to “Folk Arts Center of New England.”

Full payment is due by Friday, September 28, 2012

After that date, your deposit is nonrefundable unless your place is filled by another registrant, in which case all but $20 is refunded.

Part-time participation (see the schedule)

To reserve your space at selected meals and activities, download the PDF for the part-time registration form, and apply by mail. The 2011 part-time fees are listed on the PDF; the 2012 fees will be posted in August. Pre-registration is required for meals (with payment by Monday, October 1, 2012), and encouraged for activities. Lodging availability at Hulbert is very limited for part-time registrants. We recommend that part-timers arrange their own overnight accommodations in the Fairlee area.

Consider becoming an FAC member!

Join FAC when you register ($45 per individual; $80 per family) and save $10 on the registration fee per camper. Your membership will be good through December 31, 2013.

Work exchange

There are some positions available for work at the admissions table and other jobs in exchange for a reduced fee. If you are interested in applying for a work exchange position, check the work exchange box on your registration form.

Conny Taylor Oktoberfest Scholarship

In memory of Conny Taylor (1921–2006), co-founder of Oktoberfest and of FAC, the Conny Taylor Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to dancers or musicians of any age who demonstrate motivation and have a financial need. The scholarship may cover half or all of the cost of full-time lodging, meals, and activities at Oktoberfest. Download the scholarship application form (PDF) for complete information. Applications must be received by Friday, September 21, 2012; the selected applicants are notified on Tuesday, September 25. Donations to the Scholarship Fund are welcome.
