Oktoberfest

About Oktoberfest 2008 | Teachers & musicians | Registration | Hulbert Outdoor Center

October 10–13, 2008, Hulbert Outdoor Center, Fairlee, Vermont

Registration (2007)

NOTE: The fees and registration forms for FAC Oktoberfest 2008 will be posted in the summer. Shown below and on the PDFs are the 2007 fees.

Full-time participation

To register for lodging, meals, and activities or for meals and activities only, download the full-time registration form PDF. Print and fill out the form, and mail it with your check for full payment (see full-time fees below) or $100 deposit per person to:

Folk Arts Center of New England

42 West Foster Street

Melrose, MA 02176-3811

Part-time participation (see the schedule)

To reserve your space at selected meals and activities, download the part-time registration form PDF and apply as above. Part-time fees are listed on the PDF. Pre-registration is required for meals, and encouraged for activities. Lodging availability at Hulbert is very limited for part-time registrants. We recommend that part-timers arrange their own overnight accommodations in the area.

Monday lunch option

If you want to stay for Monday’s lunch (noon-12:45 pm), be sure to note it when you register.

Full payment is due by Friday, September 21, 2007

After that date, your deposit is nonrefundable unless your place is filled by another registrant, in which case all but $20 is refunded.

Consider becoming an FAC member!

Join now ($40 per individual; $75 per family) and save $10 on the registration fee per camper. Your membership will be good through December 31, 2008.

Work exchange

There are some positions available for work at the admissions table and other jobs in exchange for a reduced fee. If you are interested in applying for a work exchange position, check the work exchange box on your registration form.

Conny Taylor Oktoberfest Scholarship

In memory of Conny Taylor (1921-2006), co-founder of Oktoberfest and of FAC, the Conny Taylor Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to two dancers or musicians of any age who demonstrate motivation and have a financial need. Each scholarship covers half the cost of full-time lodging, meals, and activities at Oktoberfest. Download the scholarship application form PDF for complete information. Applications must be received by September 13; the selected applicants are notified on September 17. Donations to the Scholarship Fund are welcome.
