Oktoberfest

About Oktoberfest 2008 | Teachers & musicians | Registration | Hulbert Outdoor Center

48th annual Oktoberfest international folk dance and music weekend:

October 10–13, 2008, Friday–Monday

Hulbert Outdoor Center, Fairlee, Vermont

featuring

guest teachers (to be announced)
and music by The Pinewoods Band, directed by Tom Pixton

FAC’s Oktoberfest weekend features folk dance and music workshops, evening folk dance parties, and late-night after-parties in addition to beautiful autumn foliage by Lake Morey, cozy ambience, good food and comfortable cabins.

Children are welcome at Oktoberfest

Though the teaching is geared to adult dancers, children over age 8 may participate in the dance workshops. All children are welcome at the evening parties. Participants who bring children are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at all times at Oktoberfest.

Part-time participation is welcome for meals and activities

Full-time Oktoberfest campers may register for lodging, meals and activities. If you do not plan to stay overnight at Hulbert, you may join us full-time just for meals and activities. See the Registration page for full-time fees (2007), or download the full-time registration form PDF (2007).

You may also attend Oktoberfest part-time, joining us for meals, workshops and parties as you choose. The schedule (2007) and driving directions are available online. We encourage part-timers to register in advance for activities. (Meals for part-timers require advance registration.) For part-time fees, download the part-time registration form PDF (2007).

The 2008 fees and forms will be posted in the summer.
