FAC’s dance space at the Saint John’s United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall is located at 80 Mount Auburn Street (Route 16) between Summer and Palfrey Streets, two blocks from Watertown Square in Watertown, MA. Parking is available in the church’s small adjacent parking lot, on nearby streets, and in municipal lots within two blocks of the church. There is a semi-circular driveway leading to the church doors; the church parking lot is accessed directly from Mount Auburn Street by an entrance to the left of the driveway. Please enter the building by the side entrance on the far right.
If you are coming by public transportation from Harvard Square:
Take the #71 bus for Watertown Square via Mount Auburn Street. Shortly before Watertown Square, when you see the Dunkin’ Donuts sign ahead on the left, get off at the stop in front of Saint John’s United Methodist Church, across from Starbucks.
If you are driving through the Belmont Center area:
At Concord Avenue, take Common Street down to Cushing Square, across Trapelo Road, up and over the hill into Watertown. Common Street ends at Mount Auburn Street; turn right at the traffic light and go almost three blocks to Saint John’s, which is on the right after Palfrey Street, across from Starbucks.
If you have approached Watertown Square from the west by Main Street (Route 20):
Turn left onto Mount Auburn Street at the traffic light in Watertown Square. Saint John’s Church is two blocks ahead on the left, across from Starbucks and Patten Street.
If you have approached Watertown Square from points south:
After you cross the Galen Street bridge over the Charles River, get into the middle lane (second lane from the right) at the traffic light in the Square and go straight onto Mount Auburn Street. Saint John’s Church is two blocks ahead on the left, across from Starbucks and Patten Street.
If you have approached Watertown Square from the east on Arsenal or North Beacon Streets:
Turn right onto Mount Auburn Street (Route 16) at the traffic light in Watertown Square; there is a Staples store on the near right corner. Saint John’s Church is two blocks ahead on the left, across from Starbucks and Patten Street.
If you have approached Watertown Square by Mount Auburn Street (Route 16):
After the Common Street traffic light (where there is a cemetery on the near right corner), Saint John’s Church is almost three blocks ahead on the right, after Palfrey Street and across from Starbucks, two blocks before Watertown Square.
