FAC’s jam session space is located in Peacuddy’s Café and Bakery at 506 Franklin Street at the corner of Belmont Street in Melrose, MA, diagonally across from the Melrose Highlands commuter rail station. On-street parking is available.
By commuter rail from Boston and northern suburbs:
The MBTA Commuter Rail Haverhill Line leaves Boston from North Station with stops in Malden, Melrose, Wakefield, Reading, Wilmington, Andover, and Lawrence. Peacuddy’s Café is diagonally across Franklin Street from the Melrose Highlands station.
If you are approaching Melrose on I-93 from points south:
Take Exit 34 (Main Street/Route 28 North) toward Stoneham/Melrose for 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Franklin Street and continue for 1.8 miles to Peacuddy’s on your right.
If you are approaching Melrose on I-93 from points north:
Take Exit 37A onto I-95 North toward Peabody. Take the first exit, 38A (Route 28 South/Main Street), toward Stoneham and go 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Franklin Street and continue for 1.8 miles to Peacuddy’s on your right.
If you are approaching Melrose from Route 1:
Take the Lynn Fells Parkway exit and go 2.5 miles, then turn right onto Main Street and go .2 mile. Turn left onto Franklin Street and continue for .4 mile to Peacuddy’s on your left.
