Family Dances: fun for all ages!

Participatory folk dancing for the whole family
2–4 pm selected Sundays, November through March

Concord Scout House,
74 Walden Street, Concord Center, Concord, Massachusetts

Admission $5 per person • $25 family maximum

Music by Cal Howard and Friends

Co-sponsored by the New England Folk Festival Association and the Folk Arts Center, Family Dances feature supportive teaching of New England contras and squares and international folk dances, appropriate for ages 5 and up. All of the dances done are taught first.

Parents are responsible for their children at Family Dances. For safety’s sake, children must dance in shoes, not socks or bare feet.

Please help protect the Scout House’s wooden floor by changing to clean, soft-soled shoes before dancing. For the comfort and well-being of all our dancers, especially those with allergies or asthma, please do not wear perfume or fragranced personal products at our dances. Thank you!
