Tickets may also be ordered from the Folk Arts Center of New England until 3 pm on March 16 by phone at 781-438-4387 and by mail order, and must be paid for in advance (check, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover accepted). The PDF of the ticket order form will be posted in February.

Tickets ordered by March 12 will be mailed to you, unless you indicate that you would like them held at the door. Tickets held at the door must be picked up by 7:15 pm (NOTE: The concert begins at 7 pm); concert seating cannot be guaranteed after that time.

We prefer to mail your tickets to you when possible, to minimize chaos at the door. We maintain a list of ticket purchasers by name, so that, should you forget or lose the tickets mailed to you, we have a record of your purchase at the door.

Balkan Music Night presents a concert and five-hour folk dance party featuring more than twenty Balkan bands and choruses from the Greater Boston area and beyond. Previous dance experience is not necessary. Basic dances are taught during the first half hour of the party; many of the other dances done throughout the evening can be followed. Beginners and singles are welcome!

Refreshments are provided by area restaurants, bakeries, and ethnic markets. Also featured is the “kefana,” a softly lit, more intimate space for enjoying acoustic music. CDs from the Folk Arts Center’s music shop and from some of the performers are sold at the FAC table in the lobby.

The 2012 Balkan Music Night flier and ticket order form will be posted as a printable PDF in February.
