FAC’s 25th annual Balkan Music Night:

Concert and dance $20 • FAC members $19 • Seniors (65+), children under 12 $18
Dance party only $15 • FAC members $14 • Seniors (65+), children under 12 $13
Advance ticket purchase is recommended, as the concert usually sells out. Tickets are sold by the Folk Arts Center of New England (until March 12) at 781-662-7475 and by mail order (see PDF of Mail Order Form), and must be paid for in advance (check, Visa, and MasterCard accepted). Tickets may also be purchased online (until March 12) with your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) via PayPal. Tickets ordered by March 8 will be mailed. Tickets held at the door must be picked up by 7:45 pm; concert seating cannot be guaranteed after that time.
Balkan Music Night presents a concert and five-hour folk dance party featuring more than twenty Balkan bands and choruses from the Greater Boston area and beyond. Previous dance experience is not necessary. Basic dances are taught during the first half hour of the party; many of the other dances can be followed.
Refreshments are provided by area restaurants, bakeries, and ethnic markets. Also featured is the “kefana,” a softly lit, more intimate space for enjoying acoustic music. CDs from the Folk Arts Center’s music shop are sold at the FAC table in the lobby.
