Mladost (“young people”) is a group of dancers aged 14–25 who perform international folk dance. Their growing repertoire includes Hungarian, German, Polish, and Romani suites. Directed by Andy Taylor-Blenis, the group was formed in late 2006 to dance at the memorial service celebrating the life of Conny Taylor, co-founder of the Folk Arts Center of New England. Since then the original group has expanded to more than twenty dancers with backgrounds in all kinds of dance. Mladost has performed at the New England Folk Festival, the Boston Dance Alliance Benefit, and the FAC Benefit Bash, and is featured in the 2007 Christmas Revels in Cambridge, MA.

For more information, visit the Mladost website. To join Mladost or to have the ensemble perform at your event, contact FAC.
