FAC’s dance space in the parish hall at Saint John’s Episcopal Church is located on Lombard Road at the corner of Pleasant Street (Route 60), two blocks from Massachusetts Avenue near Arlington Center, Arlington, MA. The church is a gray stone building with bright red front doors. The entrance to the hall is at the back of the building, reached by a path with a signpost saying “Office/Church School.” This hall was formerly the site of Cambridge Folk Orchestra parties. Parking is available on nearby streets.

If you are coming by public transportation from Harvard Square:
Take the #77 bus for Arlington Heights via Massachusetts Avenue. The bus goes through North Cambridge, crosses Route 16/Alewife Brook Parkway into Arlington, and proceeds through Arlington Center, crossing a major intersection with Route 60 West/Belmont on the left and 2A West/3 North/Winchester on the right. There is a Cambridge Savings Bank on the near left corner of Route 60 (Pleasant Street) and a modern church with a tall white clock tower on the far left corner. Get off at the first stop after this intersection. Cross Mass. Avenue and Pleasant Street, walk two blocks up Pleasant Street, and turn left onto Lombard Road. Saint John’s Episcopal Church is on the corner of Pleasant Street and Lombard Road. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.

If you are coming by public transportation from Lechmere Station:
Take the #80 bus for Arlington Center via Medford Hillside to the end of the line in front of the Regent Theater on Medford Street near Massachusetts Avenue. Cross Medford Street and Mass. Avenue and head west (to the right) through downtown Arlington Center for two blocks, crossing Swan Place and passing Anton’s Cleaners and then Cambridge Savings Bank on the corner of Route 60/Pleasant Street. Turn left onto Pleasant Street and walk two blocks to Lombard Road on the left. Saint John’s Episcopal Church is on the corner of Pleasant Street and Lombard Road. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.

If you are driving from Route 2:
Take Exit 59: Route 60/Arlington Center/Belmont Center and go east toward Arlington Center on Pleasant Street. You will pass the Irving Street traffic light at .4 mile. After you have gone about .7 mile from Route 2, you will see Saint John’s Episcopal Church on the right, at the corner of Lombard Road. It is across Pleasant Street from a white church, and two blocks before the traffic lights at Massachusetts Avenue. On-street parking is available near Saint John’s. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.

If you are approaching Arlington Center on Mystic Street (Routes 60 West/3 South/2A East):
Stay in the middle lane as you approach the intersection with Massachusetts Avenue, where Routes 3 South and 2A East go left. There is a modern church with a tall white clock tower on the far right corner. Stay on Route 60 West, crossing Mass. Avenue onto Pleasant Street at the traffic light. Saint John’s Episcopal Church is two left-side blocks ahead on the left, at the corner of Pleasant Street and Lombard Road. On-street parking is available near the church. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.

If you are driving east toward Arlington Center on Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington:
After passing Foodmaster and Jason/Mill Streets, continue past Academy Street, Town Hall and Robbins Library and turn right at the next traffic light onto Route 60 West/Belmont (Pleasant Street). Saint John’s Episcopal Church is two left-side blocks ahead on the left, at the corner of Pleasant Street and Lombard Road. On-street parking is available near the church. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.

If you are driving west toward Arlington Center on Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington (Routes 3 North/2A West):
After passing the Arlington Center firehouse on the right and the traffic light for Route 60 East/Medford/Malden, get into the left lane. At the next traffic light, turn left onto Route 60 West/Belmont (Pleasant Street). Saint John’s Episcopal Church is two left-side blocks ahead on the left, at the corner of Pleasant Street and Lombard Road. On-street parking is available near the church. Enter the building by the back door off of Lombard Road.
